Biography

Cheuk Ching Tse, an accomplished violinist born in Hong Kong, holds a Bachelor of Music from the Universität der Künste Berlin and a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music. Under the tutelage of esteemed instructors such as Latica Honda-Rosenberg and Hyo Kang, and having played on rare instruments like a 1687 Andreas Guarneri violin, Cheuk Ching has flourished in a global career. She has performed at prestigious venues including Berliner Philharmonie, London’s Royal Festival Hall, and Darmstadt Theatre, and collaborated with artists like Vadim Repin and Joshua Bell. Her accolades include first prizes at numerous competitions across Asia and Europe, and a rich history of solo performances with orchestras worldwide.

Cheuk Ching is also a dedicated music educator, having recently completed a Master of Music and Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. As a Teaching Artist at Midori & Friends, she leverages her extensive performance experience to inspire young musicians. Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and conversational German, Cheuk Ching is committed to enriching lives through music education, reflecting her deep belief in its transformative power.
